University's Registry (PYKA)

  • The University’s Registry (PYKA) serves as the official registry of individuals affiliated with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). Various university departments authorized for managing personal data (faculty, administrative staff, students, researchers, etc.) update the PYKA database accordingly.

    The central registry collects and maintains the following information:

    • Full name, including father’s name
    • Date of birth
    • Contact details (address, phone numbers)
    • Affiliation and relationship with AUTH
    • Status, start date, and end date of the affiliation
    • Registration numbers (e.g., AMKA, APM, AM)
    • Institutional user account details and email address

    This information is accessible to all AUTH services, streamlining the management and maintenance of institutional user account for university members. As a result, no additional proof of affiliation is required for accessing the university’s e-services.

  • To be registered in the University’s Registry (PYKA), an individual must have an active affiliation with the university. The authoritative sources submit the necessary data to PYKA. These sources include:

    • School Secretariats – for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD candidates
    • Personnel Directorate – for regular administrative, teaching, and support staff
    • Research Committee – for fixed-term contract staff
    • Other sources that do not have automatic updates but provide data, such as:
        • University Property Management & Utilization Company
        • Tellogleion Foundation
