  • The Personal Website Hosting Service allows members of AUTH to maintain their own personal presence on the internet.

    • Personal webpage on the people.auth.gr service (for AUTH staff)
      The people.auth.gr service is offered to AUTh’s staff. It allows you to create your personal webpage easily and quickly through a user-friendly management interface. The service offers a wide range of features (e.g. uploading a CV, listing professional experience, publications, interests, etc.), the option to add content in English, and customizable design templates with color selection. The address of the personal webpage follows the format: people.auth.gr/<username>
    • Dynamic website with CMS tools (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, Joomla etc.)
      The website is created and maintained by its owner using a Content Management System (CMS), such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or other tools, through the Parallels Plesk platform. The address of the personal website follows the format: <username>.webpages.auth.gr.   • The people.auth service is available to all AUTh staff members who have an institutional user account.

    The webpages.auth service is available to all members of AUTH who have an institutional user account.

  • Activation and management of the webpages.auth service are done through myaccount.auth.gr, via the menu Applications > Personal Storage > Personal Dynamic Webpage. You can activate more than one option (static website, dynamic website, and blogs). Instructions for using the service are available on the corresponding page.

    The people.auth service is managed directly via people.auth.gr. No activation is required, the only prerequisite is an active institutional account. Instructions for using the service can also be found on the relevant page.

  • The ability to use the website hosting service is granted for as long as your institutional account remains active.
