Information Collected

The AUTh Campus Safety app (Google Play) requests location data from your device and records your location only when you choose to report an incident. The location is shared with the AUTh Security Service for a prompt and accurate response to emergencies on the university campus, such as illegal activities, health incidents, or infrastructure damage.

Purpose of Data Collection

The data is used exclusively for the immediate response to emergencies within the university.

Data Sharing

The data is shared only with the AUTh Security Service and, in some cases, with the police.

Data Retention Period

The data is retained for a period of one year and then deleted.

User Rights

You may request correction or deletion of your data by contacting the AUTh DPO.
