Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching

Microsoft software for members of STEM Faculties

  • Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching offers free Microsoft® software to eligible members of the university community.

Most Microsoft software is included, excluding Microsoft Office.
Office is available separately through Microsoft Office 365 Education.

Access to the service is limited to faculty members, researchers, and students from STEM schools and departments, as defined by Microsoft.
At Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), eligible departments belong to the following Faculties:
    – Faculty of Sciences
    – Faculty of Engineering
    – Faculty of Health Sciences
    – Faculty of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Environment

Schools outside these Faculties are not eligible for software through Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. However, please note that Windows licenses for university-owned computers across all AUTH departments are available through the Microsoft OVS-ES agreement.

Prior to February 2019, this service was known as Microsoft Imagine (formerly DreamSpark).
