The service of shared mail folders for the information services of AUTh units allows each unit to publish messages to a shared mail folder for its members, ensuring immediate message delivery.

Depending on their role and affiliated unit, users may see additional shared mail folders containing email messages, provided that their unit has activated the service. For example, a faculty member of the School of Mathematics will see an email folder named faculty@math under their Inbox.

Additionally, there is a special news folder already present in all institutional email inboxes, where announcements from the Rectorate intended for all members of AUTh (faculty, students, administrative staff, etc.) are posted.

The School’s Secretariat or another authorized personnel has full access to the shared email folders, mainly for publishing announcements.

All group inboxes are located within a general folder called AUTh-MAIL, so they can be easily distinguished from personal mail folders.

Each unit can activate the service simply by request to the Digital Governance Unit (DGU), which will also designate the authorized personnel for managing the content of the special group folder.
