Guest Wi-Fi Access at AUTh

Visitors at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) can obtain a GuestPass account with daily access to connect to the university’s wireless network. The AUTh Open Wi-Fi network is available for guest access.

Extended Access for Events & Conferences

For events or conferences lasting more than one day, guest accounts with extended validity can be provided upon request.

Eduroam Access for Academic Visitors

Visitors from academic or research institutions that participate in the eduroam network do not need a GuestPass account. They can connect to the university’s eduroam Wi-Fi following the access instructions provided by their home institution.

Access to Public Computer Labs

For guest access to centrally managed computer labs, please visit the Computer Labs webpage and submit the relevant request.

To obtain a GuestPass account with daily validity, you only need to have a mobile phone.

To obtain a visitor account valid for the duration of an event or conference, the organizer must arrange for the creation and distribution of accounts to participants.

Connecting to AUTh Open

When you connect to the AUTh open wireless network from your mobile device, you will be automatically redirected to a dedicated interface with specific instructions. Follow these steps to receive your GuestPass account credentials, valid for one day, on your mobile phone.

Conference & Event Organization

For conferences or events, organizers have the option to provide network access accounts to their guests. To do so, the organizer must:

1. Agree to the terms of service.
2. Submit an online request via the form available at the top of this page.

Once the request is processed, the visitor access accounts will be sent to the applicant (event organizer). These accounts grant access to the eduroam wireless network, following the setup instructions available in the relevant documentation.
